What better time to capture hugs and kisses of congratulations from guests than during some cocktails, drinks and canapés.
The laughs and smiles photographed here help a reportage style story. Light music or a guitarist can keep people sociable while the kids are now free to run around and have fun.
I shoot all the favors and keepsakes and mingle amongst the guests and take some some family portraits and a group shot if required.
As guests sit down for dinner, the father’s speech, best man’s toasts and the fact that dinner is on its way keep a good ambience for the wedding story.
Dinner courses are captured where possible and the cake is always photographed before it gets eaten.
